Terms
Plain terms, in the same words used on the rest of the site. If anything here isn’t clear, email me before you pay — I’d rather answer than argue later.
What you get
One custom one-page website, built to order: the design, the copy written from your answers, images sourced or prepared, a responsive build, your domain connected, hosting set up, and the SEO basics.
What it costs
$1,000, paid once, by card. There are no monthly fees and no deposit. The only recurring cost is your domain, paid to your registrar — not to me.
How long it takes
Five business days, counted from the day your brief is complete. If I’m waiting on you — answers, photos, domain access — the clock pauses. I reply within 24 hours on working days and ask the same of you.
Design directions and refunds
On day one you get two design directions for the top of your page. Pick one and I build it. If neither is right, tell me and I refund you in full — no forms, no reason needed. The refund window closes when you pick a direction, because that is when the build starts.
Revisions
Two rounds are included. A round is one list of changes, turned around within 24 hours on working days. Unused rounds expire 14 days after I hand over the finished page.
Sign-off
If I’ve sent you a version and haven’t heard back for five business days, I’ll treat the work as accepted and publish it. I’ll email you a reminder before that happens.
If you go quiet
If you stop responding for 30 days before the brief is finished, I’ll archive the project. You can pick it back up any time within six months at no extra cost.
After launch
Anything broken is my problem and I fix it free, with no time limit. Changes are $150 per update request, and you can bundle as many small changes as you like into a single request.
What you own
The domain, the code and the hosting account are yours. The domain is bought in your name from the start. You can move all of it somewhere else on any day, without asking me.
What isn’t included
- Multi-page sites, blogs and online stores
- Logo and brand identity work
- Ongoing management or content updates
- Advertising, campaigns and SEO beyond the basics
- The cost of your domain and any paid third-party services you choose to use
Who you’re dealing with
